In this workshop we’ll take a look at what I think are crucial issues in the learning process: rapport and motivation. Most educational systems concentrate on results: grades, exams and ranking tables. Such de-humanised attitudes often lead to teachers’ and students’ frustration. This session will explore how to foster mutual understanding, creativity, self-esteem as well as the dynamics of their relationship. We will work on activities which address their respective needs, improve classroom dynamics and, eventually, the learning process.
